Is there a typical type of body shape/height needed to play rugby?
No, we have players ranging from 5'2" to 6'1" and positions on the team to suit all body shapes and skill sets so anyone is welcome to try out.
Is rugby really dangerous?
Rugby is a very physical sport but bad injuries are rare. We strive to make sure that everyone is fully equipped to complete all game plays safely and successfully during training.
Are there other opportunities to improve my skils outside training sesions?
There are touch rugby sessions that run most Thursday evenings from 7-8pm and many of our girls have found that these sessions were good for improving ball handling skills and other techniques.
As well as this, many of our members would be more than happy to help individuals understand more about the game, so don't be afraid to ask!
